We had an excellent experience replacing our car with Sullivan's. We were shopping for used Subaru Foresters and we'd been to CarMax and several other local dealer lots in the Burg during the search process. This place should absolutely be the first stop anyone looking to buy used should make. While CarMax came closest to Sullivan's in terms of customer service experience, their inventory couldn't compare--everything we were seeing at CarMax had far more wear and tear, especially on the interiors, compared to the two practically pristine models that we looked at in the same price point from Sullivan's. Looking across their inventory, the caliber of their used cars seems far higher than most used car dealers in the area. Plus, they're a full service shop that could likely handle and body or mechanical concerns in house before the cars were even on the lot. Both cars we considered from Sullivan's had good maintenance documentation, clean Carfax reports, had been thoroughly serviced and detailed, and were fairly priced. Given all of that, we felt confident about the condition of both cars we considered. I can't emphasize enough how great the customer service experience was with Sullivan's. I came twice for a test drive before buying, including once with my baby daughter. Both times, everyone was very helpful and so friendly. Donald actually helped me with installing the car seat during one of the test drives. Will went over the two cars we were comparing with us thoroughly, including the service work they'd done already in-house and he repeated several of the condition checks (battery, tires, e.g.) in front of us so we felt confident about the components. Shannon was especially great throughout the shopping and buying processes. She assisted us with trading in our previous vehicle, made sure we had all the information we needed on the car we ultimately purchased from them, and helped oversee the final purchase paperwork--smoothest car buying experience we've had due to her expert guidance. It's been a couple of weeks out now from purchasing our 2019 Forester and we absolutely love it!
